Kellogg Community College is hosting a Transfer Fair on campus to give students an opportunity to learn more about transferring and engage directly with representatives from four-year schools.

The free event will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, in the Kellogg Room of the KCC Student Center, on campus at 450 North Ave. in Battle Creek.

KCC Academic Advisor Michael Houston, an organizer of the Transfer Fair, said, “The Kellogg Community College Transfer Fair is an excellent way to gain valuable transfer information. During the fair, admissions representatives from many four-year colleges and universities will be in attendance.”

In total, there will be 38 colleges in attendance, including the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Eastern Michigan University and others.

Students who attend the Transfer Fair will have an opportunity to learn more about admissions standards, application deadlines, programs, scholarship opportunities, campus life and other information that will be useful for those who plan on transferring or attending a four-year school.

This is possibly the best opportunity students could have to learn about and directly communicate with four-year schools.
