Kellogg Community College’s Annual Student Art Exhibition is showing now in the Eleanor R. and Robert A. DeVries Gallery in the college’s Davidson Visual and Performing Arts Center, on campus at 450 North Ave., Battle Creek.

KCC Photography and Multimedia Program Coordinator and Gallery Director Ryan Flathau said there are 97 artists and 147 works of art in the exhibition this year.

The exhibit is free and open to the public through May 1 during regular gallery hours, which are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.

This year there are five categories in the exhibit, including 3D Fine Art, 2D Fine Art, Photography, Digital Design and Time-Based Digital Media.

An awards reception recognizing the top student works appearing in the exhibit will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 28, in the auditorium at the Davidson Center. The awards reception is also free and open to the public.
