Are you looking to be more involved at KCC? Do you enjoy games and activities? You might be perfect to join KAB or participate in their activities.

KAB stands for the Kampus Activities Board, which is responsible for putting together events for students by students.

Over the last few semesters, they’ve hosted dances and Nerf wars, had campus-wide games of hide and go seek, and even held karaoke in the Student Center.

Students who want to know the happenings and events run by KAB should follow their account on Instagram. Meetings are held every Friday at noon in the Student Life office for those interested in planning events and giving ideas and the meetings are open to all students.

“Meetings usually consist of brainstorming, collaborating and working together to solve problems or plan events,” said KAB member Payton Espolon. “We sometimes create things (like Candy Grams) or schedule things out and sign up for events to run.”

Joining KAB is a way to get involved on campus and have fun with peers, as well as meeting new students and opportunities to lead events.

“We’re always looking for students to come and volunteer to plan and run events,” said KAB President Drea Smith. “Students should follow us on social media if they want a taste of everything KAB has to offer.”
