The Gilmore Car Museum is hosting this year’s Cars & Characters: A Celebration of Princesses and Superheroes event this weekend in Hickory Corners.

Cars & Characters will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 2 at the museum, located at 6865 Hickory Road, in Hickory Corners. This event is open to the public with $16 general admission for ages 18 and older and $11 for ages 1 through 17; any attendees under the age of 1 get in free. There are also VIP tickets which are slightly more expensive at $20 per person.

This is a classic meet-and-greet event with the most popular superheroes and princesses of all time. Participants can enjoy storytelling with Belle and other princesses every hour, superhero training with Spider-Man or even “Pixie Dust Wishing” with Tinker Bell.

Participants who purchase the VIP package can become a real crowned princess for the day at a coronation ceremony with the “Frozen” sisters. Participants can also get autographs from more than 20 different superheroes and princesses throughout the event.

Alina Sprung, a high school exchange student who is planning on attending this event this year for the first time, said she’s never been to an event like this before.

Sprung said she’s most excited to see the princesses, but “I just expect to see lots of crazy stuff, superheroes and a lot of fun.”

The characters are professionally trained and from an entertainment company called Olivia Grace & Company. The company offers a multitude of different princesses and superhero characters for personal events.
