The American Museum of Magic’s special Halloween event for kids and their families is coming up later this month.

Silly, Spooky Magic runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, throughout the museum at 107 E. Michigan Ave. in Marshall. Admission to the museum is $7 for adults, $4.50 for kids ages 5 to 12 and free for children under 5. All activities are free with an admission ticket.

The American Museum of Magic is home to a vast collection of magic exhibits and memorabilia. Kids will be able to participate in the many event activities as they explore all the museum has to offer.

Museum Administrator Sara Schultz said the museum seeks to preserve the treasures of the performance art of magic.

“We’ll have stations where children can learn how to do simple magic tricks,” Schultz said. “At noon we’ll have a special magic show with Wanda the Wacky Witch on our Magic Box Theater stage.”

Schultz also said there will be plenty of treats for kids to take home.

More information about the event can be found on the museum’s website at
