With the spring semester coming to an end and classes approaching their finals, students at Kellogg Community College are ready for summer vacation. To relax and not have to worry about classes or turning in homework.

Of course, just because the spring semester is ending doesn’t mean that school is over.

During the summer, KCC is offering a wide variety of summer classes, on topics ranging from Accounting and Business Administration to Psychology, Criminal Justice and many more.

Registration for the summer semester started April 8, and students can register online or at any one of the college’s campuses through the beginning of the semester. The first summer classes begin May 13, and the semester ends Aug. 8.

Student Nick Vaquera said taking summer classes helps when it comes to wanting to graduate.

“It makes it a lot easier to get into another college when they see how well you do in your classes,” Vaquera said.
